Pyramid Hill Lights is absolutely phenomenal. Now in its 25th year, this drive-through experience at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park in Hamilton, Ohio is as much an art installation as it is a holiday light display. It’s gorgeous, it’s creative, and it stands head and shoulders above so many other drive-through light experiences.
Art Meets Holiday Lights
What sets Pyramid Hill apart is the setting. This isn’t lights strung up in a parking lot or along a generic path—it’s over one million lights winding through a sculpture park. The lights are integrated with the outdoor sculptures, creating something that feels intentional and artistic rather than just festive.
The 2-mile route takes you through the park’s scenic landscape, and this year features new light projection installations created by Miami University students. These projections highlight several of the park’s most beloved sculptures, adding another layer to the experience.

Fan favorites like Swan Lake and Candy Cane Lane return with even more holiday cheer, and the park promises more lights than ever before.
The Experience
The drive is genuinely beautiful. You wind through the park, taking in the combination of holiday lights and permanent art installations. It’s the kind of experience where you find yourself stopping (when safe) just to take it all in. The sculptures lit up against the night sky, surrounded by twinkling lights, creates something special.
A Membership Wish
I really wish Pyramid Hill Lights was included with a park membership. I would purchase a membership to Pyramid Hill just to be able to drive through this light display multiple times each season. At $25 per carload for non-members ($15 for members), it’s reasonably priced, but unlimited visits would make it even better.
